I’ve had way too many internet rages over bullshit posted like this!
Like those pictures “when did this (pictures of skinny women from the last 5 years or so) become hotter than this? (pictures of curvier women in the 40s and 50s)” make me rage SO HARD. ALL WOMEN ARE HOT. All body shapes are sexy, and all body shapes should be respected. No matter what the fucking era is! Not everyone in the 40s and 50s had marilyn monroe’s body shape and it’s weird that people seem to assume that was the norm back then. Just the same as it is absurd to think that mega thin is the norm in this day and age.

The only body shape I don’t condone is the one achieved through harming oneself, causing damage. But someone can be naturally those shapes and in perfect health and it is wrong to speak before you know the circumstances.

I’m glad to see someone I know speaking up about this b.s in public! :) 

YES. Exactly everything you just said. It grinds my gears so fucking much when people buy into that Marilyn Monroe perfect figure bullshit, even worse when it’s women. It’s actually turning it into a back-pedalling for feminism and not supportive of women at all. I just wish he’d kept the post up so I could have actually had a mini-rage and get my point across.
